“We’ve been impressed by Odyssey’s affordable jerseys and glasses, but these pants are decidedly less ‘budget’, costing a similar amount to trousers from big-name competitors such as Fox, However, they’ve swiftly become one of our go-to pairs, thanks to a great cut that’s neither too tight nor too baggy around the thighs, long enough to reach the ankles of riders over 6ft (unlike Fox’s pants) and nicely tapered. The nylon/spandex fabric strikes a good balance, too, combining ripstop durability with a light and stretchy feel. Reinforcement in key areas (the knees and inner ankles) improves longevity while a raised back panel and shower/spray-beating DWR treatment help keep the elements at bay. The pockets are well-positioned, so you can carry a mobile without it swinging about and there are elastic Velcro tabs to let you cinch in the waist. Even the branding is nice and subtle. There really is little to complain about here.”
