We don’t name our products at random. Poseidon, Centaur, Ajax. Each one is borrowed from a story told for thousands of years — about endurance, about facing what's in front of you, about the journey itself.
Our new short video series — Behind The Name — unpacks where those names came from, and why we chose them.
Poseidon — the god who ruled the oceans, commanded the waves, and brought chaos when the dark clouds closed in. When we designed a jacket for the worst days on the trail, the name was obvious.
Ajax — one of the greatest warriors of the Trojan War. Known for his strength, courage, and refusal to fall back. When we designed gloves for rough trails, fast descents, and moments where control matters most, one name stood out.
Start at the beginning.
The first episode isn’t about a product, it explores the mythology behind the brand name itself. The Odyssey wasn’t just a journey, it was the journey that became the story.
“When we built a brand for riders who treat every ride as part of something bigger, one word captured the spirit of an epic adventure: Odyssey.”
